Renters must hold a valid driver’s license and meet the age requirements (minimum age is 21, unless specified otherwise).

Additional charges may apply for drivers under 25 years old.

Reservations:

All reservations are subject to vehicle availability at the time of pick-up.

A major credit card is required to confirm your booking.

Rental Period:

The rental period begins at the time of vehicle pick-up and ends when the vehicle is returned to the designated location.

Late returns may incur additional fees.

Payment and Fees:

Payment is due at the time of pick-up. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Additional fees may apply for insurance, extra drivers, fuel, and other optional services.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Vehicle Usage

Proper Use:

Renters are responsible for operating the vehicle safely and within local traffic laws.

Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Activities:

The vehicle may not be used for racing, towing, or transporting illegal goods.

Unauthorized use outside of St. Thomas requires prior approval.

Maintenance and Care:

Renters must return the vehicle in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.

Damage caused by negligence may result in additional charges.

Insurance and Liability

Insurance Requirements:

Renters must provide proof of insurance or purchase coverage through First Rent-A-Car at the time of rental.

Liability:

Renters are responsible for all damages, accidents, and violations incurred during the rental period.

Theft or Loss:

Renters are liable for any theft, loss, or damages to the vehicle unless covered by insurance.

Privacy Policy

Your personal information is collected solely for the purpose of processing reservations and providing services. We do not share your data with third parties without your consent.

Amendments

First Rent-A-Car reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and take immediate effect upon publication.
